brief time of 30-40 minutes. There was also a reading of E4 on the dehumidifier.

Contacted the customer service department. I was told that the item was defective, but was instructed to try turning it off and unplugging it, then start it up again. I followed the steps, and to no avail. It continued to only run for a short period of time.

I have called several times to the customer service department, and have spoken to several individuals. I was told that I needed my receipt, which I retrieved from Amazon, and my bank statement. After telling them I have the proof of purchase, I was told again that the item was defective, and my warranty has expired. After months of giving up, I decided to contact them again to seek help in them repairing or exchanging the unit, but they were not willing to exchange, nor repair the product.

The last call I made, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was asked why, that she would tell me the same thing, that the product was defective, and my warranty is up, and there was nothing they could do, but for me to purchase another product. I was placed on hold, and eventually got the "supervisor's voicemail". I left a message for the supervisor, and never received a call.

I called back several times for one hour, and it appeared that my number was blocked, because I constantly got a voicemail for the operator stating she was busy, and would return my call. I then contacted a family member in New York, and asked him to dial the number, he was able to immediately reach the operator, who transferred him to someone in customer service, when I couldn't reach her for an hour from my number. It has been months that I have tried to resolve this issue, and I have not yet been able to get any help from this company. Customer service in my opinion is a zero.

Soleusair is willing to sell to it's products, but not willing to back their products, knowing that at times their will be a few defective units. Companies who carry Soleusair products should consider not doing business with such a despicable company who hide behind voicemails, and never attempt to satisfy the customer's needs.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Soleusair Cons: Service i receive when i reached out.

I got one those pcs of junk, only lasted 6 months,also E-4 keeps shutting off, un plug and re plug in ,it goes away for a few minutes and comes back on,pump quit working,somme lights quit working, what a pc of ***

SOLEUS 95 pint dehumidifier is junk keep getting E4 on screen then it shuts down. It gets tiring unplugging it to get it to work temporarily.

Then it is E4 again. This is after just year of purchase from MENARDS in Madison WI. When you look on the back of the cover it says made in CHINA. That explains it all.

I am so tired of paying premium prices and receiving JUNK as products in this country. Whatever happened to "MADE IN AMERICA" HELLO.........!!!!!

Did you check to see if the dehumidifier was made in the USA before you bought it. If the product worked great you would not be complaining at all and supporting China.

HELLO.....!!!!! You should have done your homework before you purchased the product to find out where it is manufactured.

Same thing happen to us. Brought the unit home.

Thought it was working. Get an E4 code and customer service said it was a bad compressor and would not repair or replace. This is terrible.

I got mine at Menards. Menards needs to stop carrying these types of customer rippoffs.
