I tried four different email addresses but received no replies. You cannot buy anything these days that has good customer support.

Whole House Air Purifier problem
I can't get through to customer service! My filter reset button isn't working at all.
I just changed the filter and the bar shows 'replace'. The air purifier is 8 months old.

Resolved: Cannot contact business
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I had to drill down on Amazon's website to find an email address.
The info that came with the Soleus dehumidifier was false. The phone number did not work. The company (which apparently was not Soleus) that sold me the unit paid to have it returned to them and refunded the purchase.
No questions asked. It was all a huge hassle, but I was made whole in the end.

It's some health care organization. What about inside the user manual? Same number. What about their website (https://soleusair.com)?
There is no contact information. Not even an address. When I try to return it via Amazon, I'm offered a return shipping label, but I am expected to pay for the shipping. What?!
So here's the problem with the product.
It is REALLY loud. According to the manual, the decibel (dB) range should be 49 - 53. Instead, it is 61-65. If you are not familiar with dB, that may not sound like a huge leap, but the dB scale is not linear.
On a linear scale 500 is ten times more than 50.
On the decibel scale 60 is ten times more than 50. So, this dehumidifier is ten times louder than it should be.

Need technical assistance with dehumidifier
Called technical support number. Was not technical support.
Tried to ask me about purchasing TVs or air conditioners. Representative gave me second number. Called that number which was a direct TV line.
Call the number from pissed consumer and was directed to voicemail. No response from company.

1 year old Soleus saddle window AC does not cool after only being used intermittently for a couple of months.
I heard from the company and since my AC is two months past the warranty they will not replace it. Their only suggestion was to call their technical department and they would give me tips on getting it going again.
Well I have already troubleshooted all the stuff they mentioned on their website so talking to someone over the phone isn't going to help. I have consulted a trusted HVAC tech who says from what I have described it is more than likely the compressor is gone and so the whole thing is a boat anchor. He has kindly offered to have a look at it for me for free to determine if he can fix it.
However, if it needs parts that could be an expensive as well as long process. I have asked Soleus it they could perhaps at least give me some kind of a discount or credit towards purchasing another AC but so far have heard nothing back from them.
The only thing I can tell you is that just before it stopped working, I heard a flapping noise coming from the unit. It sounded like a piece of paper was stuck in the fan, which it is not.
After a few hours, it stopped making the noise and then it would no longer cool. I feel this should not have happened on a virtually new AC.

Portable air conditioner issue
Portable air conditioner GL-PAC-08E4, Serial # 100*****. Unit recently returned from a friend will not stay turned on.
When plugged into a wall outlet, the unit turns on for 1 second. The display lights up, and the number 88 appears in the display. The unit beeps once. Then it turns off!
If the on/off button is then pressed, nothing happens. If I unplug the unit and reset the end of the power cord, the same thing happens, with the unit turning off after 1 second.
I have tried several outlets in my home, all on different circuits, with the same result. I would appreciate any help resolving this issue.

70 pint dehumidifier quit condensing
I replaced my dehumidifier under their recall program. The new unit quit working after a year or so I tried contacting customer service.
I had no response from them.
I talked with Menards store where I purchased . They no longer carry this brand because of issues with the company so at this point, I will take the loss and dispose of the bad unit.

Clogged drain pump
No answer from tech support about how to access this critical part. It gets clogged and there's no way to clean it, therefore; the AC unit will leak on the floor, even when correctly installed.
